Unicentro shopping mall, in the north zone of Bogotá, signified a stepping stone in urban planning after its inauguration in 1974, not only because it was the first commercial center in the country but it also promoted the expansion of the city and consolidated itself as a commercial and high-value residential district, in developments such as the Santa Barbara Urbanization. Right here, and next to the central park, the architectural preliminary project of an 8-stories residential building with 45 apartments of 72m2 is proposed.
