Area: 800 m2The Rumichaca International Bridge is a historical, cultural and commercial reference between Ecuador and Colombia, that because of the Venezuelan crisis, has become the obligatory passage for millions of migrants heading to South America. Therefore, to provide a dignified service to the new demand of users, a metallic roof is proposed, which gradually opens from the bridge to the entrance of the Colombian immigration control offices, through variations in its scale and the way in which indirect natural light enters.
