Following the construction of the North Point Office Complex in the northeast of Bogotá, several real estate developers began to explore residential projects to meet the demand of a district zone in constant renovation, driven by the imminent expansion of the city to the north. Calle 161 was a feasibility experiment and preliminary project that proposed 2 towers of 20 and 25 stories, over a commercial platform and an open and inclusive public park, designed as an environmental buffer for the eastern hills and 7th Avenue.
